PSU(Polysulfone)
Description

PSU is a high temperature, amber colored, semi-transparent amorphous thermoplastic. Its properties remain relatively consistent over a wide temperature range. PSU is known for its toughness and stability at elevated temperatures. It is resistant to degradation from hot water and steam sterilization and has excellent chemical resistance to acidic salt solutions. It can be used as a superior replacement to polycarbonate or acrylic in specialty applications.

Features
  • Good Chemical Resistance:Resistance to aqueous acid and alkaline…
  • High Dimensional Stability:The size change is under 0.1 % with exposure to hot water or steam.
  • Excellent Radiation Stability against hot water and steam sterilization.
  • Outstanding Hydrolytic Stability
  • High Impact Resistance
  • Superior Electrical Properties
Applications

analytical instrumentation, medical devices, aesthetic braces, dairy connectors, food pans, battery caps, oil pumps, oil control pistons, transmission parts, carburetor parts, bearing cages, ignition components, membranes…
