High-Performance PPA (PA9T & PA10T)
Introduction

PA9T and PA10T are semi-aromatic, high-performance polyphthalamides (PPAs) that bridge the gap between commodity nylons and fully aromatic polymers. Designed for demanding thermal, chemical, and mechanical environments, they offer an exceptional combination of heat resistance, very low moisture uptake, and dimensional precision—ideal for precision-molded parts with minimal warpage.

Both PA9T and PA10T exhibit high glass transition and heat-deflection temperatures, ensuring they retain strength and stiffness at elevated service temperatures. Their semi-aromatic backbone and high crystallinity also deliver outstanding resistance to fatigue, creep, abrasion, and swelling, even after prolonged exposure to fuels, oils, glycol-based coolants, humid air, or aggressive chemicals. These combined properties make PA9T and PA10T the materials of choice for high-reliability components in electronics, automotive, and industrial applications.
